The University of Queensland is another addition to the top 50 universities band bagging 47th position in 2018. UQ is a co-founder of Group of Eight, a collaboration of research-intensive universities enabling innovation in Australia. The University of Western Australia is the first university in Western Australia, built in 1911. Located in Perth, UWA ranked 93rd in the latest edition of QS University Ranking. It has 24, 000 students studying across nine faculties.
